The false dichotomy of conservative vs liberal is one of the most effective illusions Americans have bought into. We are divided along the meaningless and artificial social cleavage of Repub vs Dem when the only division that has any meaning is between the few hundred power elite and the rest of us. Or, in Occupy terms, the 1% vs the 99%. Don’t let them define your reality anymore!

Make Government Obsolete
Every form of activism we engage in should be done with the intention not of asking or even demanding that government change (because it won’t), but with the ultimate intention of making government obsolete. Thinking this way will serve to inform our decisions about what type of actions we undertake.
